NEW YORK (AP)—The New York Knicks have signed free-agent guard Roger Mason(notes) Jr.
Mason is the latest addition to the Knicks, joining a list newcomers that
include Amare Stoudemire, Ronny Turiaf(notes), Anthony Randolph(notes), Raymond Felton(notes) and
Kelenna Azubuike(notes).
Mason has averaged 7.2 points 1.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 346 career
games with Chicago, Toronto, Washington and San Antonio. He averaged 6.3 points
and 2.1 rebounds in 19 games with the Spurs last season.
Mason was selected by Chicago in the second round of the 2002 draft, 31st
overall, out of Virginia.
